Step 2 - LEARN
March 2026: Primary Election - this is when the entire field of Democratic candidates are voted on to choose one official nominee for each seat, who will then appear on the November General Election Ballot. November 2026: General Election ("The Midterms") - The general election represents the decisive phase in the electoral process, where citizens make their final choices for who will hold public office. Almost every seat that represents us - in Victoria, in Texas, and at the Federal level - will be up for election in November 2026. |

Step 3 - PLAN YOUR VOTE
When it's time to vote, you can choose one of three options:

You are eligible to vote early by mail if you are a registered voter who is:
- 65 years of age or older
- Disabled
- Are expected to be absent from the county during the voting dates (must provide out of county address)
- Expecting to give birth within three weeks before or after Election Day
- Confinement in jail, but still eligible to vote
