The Victoria Coalition of Progressive Democrats (VCPD) is based on shared interests and goals for those of us wanting (demanding) stronger, bolder Representation of progressive, liberal, and social values.

- A gathering of like-minded individuals, whether your intention is to find a place to connect with others, or a place to bring ideas and help shape the political atmosphere in Victoria and beyond.
- A place to bring energy for change.
- The Coalition of Progressive Democrats is not a formal committee of the Victoria County Democratic Party.
- A coalition/caucus is formed based on shared interest and goals;
- A committee addresses specific tasks or responsibilities and is governed by the VCDP.
- The efforts of both coalitions and committees go hand-in-hand to advocate for progressive values.

Democrats and Progressives are both left-leaning political ideologies that prioritize social justice, equality, and government intervention in the economy.
